Ingredients:
¾ cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
½ cup white sugar
½ tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. white vinegar
½ cup water
For The Frosting:
1 ½ tbsp. Milk
½ cup Powdered Sugar
1 ½ tbsp. Cocoa Powder
1 ½ tsp. Honey
1 ½ tbsp. unsalted Butter
½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
- Add sugar, cocoa powder, water, baking soda, oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl, and blend until smooth batter.
- Grease an 8×8″ cake pan generously and pour it into the batter.
- Place the cake pan in the preheated oven at 350°F and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, add milk, honey, cocoa powder, extract, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a bowl and blend until light and fluffy.
- Once the cake is ready, remove it from the oven and leave it to cool, then spread the frosting evenly over the top.
- Transfer to the refrigerator for chilling.
- When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator, slice, and serve.
