4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
½ cup buttermilk
¼ cup Panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
¼ cup flaxseed, ground
½ tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper

HOW TO MAKE THIS BUTTERMILK OVEN FRIED CHICKEN:
Step 1. Place chicken breasts and buttermilk in a resealable plastic bag, shake gently to make an even coating, and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 2. After 1 hour, take the bag out of the refrigerator, remove the chicken from the bag, and discard the bag along with the buttermilk.
Step 3. In a shallow dish, add flaxseed, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper, and mix well.
Step 4. Use aluminum foil to line a baking sheet and grease with cooking spray.
Step 5. Place the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture and pat it to coat an even layer on both sides.
Step 6. Place coated chicken on the greased baking sheet.
Step 7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven at 400°F and bake for 25 minutes or until theninternal temperature of the chicken rises to 165°F.
