1 medium cabbage head, shredded
½ cups bacon, fried and crumbled (reserve the grease)
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper

HOW TO MAKE FRIED CABBAGE WITH ONIONS AND BACON:
Step 1. Place a deep-sided pot over medium heat and pour in the reserved bacon grease.
Step 2. Add and sauté diced onions until translucent, then add minced garlic and continue to sauté for an additional 30 seconds or until fragrance.
Step 3.Lower the heat to medium, add the shredded cabbage to the pot. Cover the pot and allow the ingredients to simmer until the cabbage is tender; stir occasionally.
Step 4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Sauté for a final 3 minutes.
