1 ½ tbsp olive oil
3 cups shell pasta, cooked al dente
¾ pound chicken breast, boneless and skinless, cut into chunks
¾ pound Italian sausage, sliced
1 small onion, diced
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
3 cups pasta sauce
1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp black pepper
¾ tsp salt
HOW TO MAKE BEST ITALIAN BAKE:
Step 1. Lightly coat a 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
Step 2. Add olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add chicken and cook until color turns brown.
Step 3. Then add Italian sausage, bell peppers, and onions, and continue to cook until meat is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.
Step 4. Season the mixture with salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper, and stir well.
