INGREDIENTS:
½ cup dry elbow macaroni
½ pound lean ground beef
1 ¾ cup canned tomatoes, undrained
1 small onion, finely chopped
⅓ cup frozen corn
½ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup diced green chilis
¼ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
HOW TO MAKE GOULASH :
Step 1. Pour water into a pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook until just tender; drain, rinse, and set aside.
Step 2. Add ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat, crumble, and cook beef until brown. Drain extra grease.
Step 3. Lower the heat and add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, corn, green chilis, cumin, black pepper, and salt in the skillet. Mix well and let the mixture simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 4. Then add cilantro and cooked macaroni in the skillet and stir to make an even coating.
Step 5. Transfer the goulash to the serving dish and give the goulash a final stir before serving.
