1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 ½ tbsp brown sugar

1/3 cup unsalted butter
¾ cup milk
For the Filling:
2 cups blackberries
1/3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 ½ tbsp. all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Let’s get started by preheating your oven to 375°F.
- Prepare a 6″ cast iron skillet by lightly greasing it with nonstick spray.
- Add butter to the greased skillet and place in the preheated oven to melt.
- Add baking powder, salt, brown sugar, and flour in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Slowly pour in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
- Once the butter melts, remove the skillet from the oven and pour the batter into the bottom.
- In a separate bowl, combine sugar, blackberries, cinnamon, vanilla, and flour until thoroughly mixed. Spread this mixture evenly over the batter in the skillet.
